Happy Friday! Happy mid- August!

The fact that we are midway through the month and my social feed is full of back-to-school pictures has me like, "WHHHAAAAAT?"

Whether you have kiddos headed back to school or not, mid-August marks the back half of summer and if you're anything like me... it comes with mixed feelings!

On one hand, I am bemoaning the dwindling days on the boat, wishing I could have fit in one more fun + relaxing weekend and the other hand I am craving to get back to routine, my cozy hoodies, and a fall reset that includes making soup, candles, and slow mornings watching the leaves fall!

Here in the Midwest, it's the seasons I appreciate most. How the buzz of summer gives way to the crisp change of fall. Then everything slows + the quiet snow covers everything while we turn inward for warmth. We look forward to the fresh reset spring brings...new life, new everything... which goes into full bloom with summer all over again!

These seasons have always felt like a metaphor for life. Sometimes we buzzing and are shining like sunshine and other times we go quiet, turn inward, resetting, recharging, and planting the seeds of new growth! It's magical when you think of it like that!

As a mama who is sending her last kiddo to college, welcoming a second grandchild, riding the wave of early men*p@u$e (omg, friends... can anyone relate), building a business, and trying to keep my marriage on fire.... I am readily tapping into my reserve of "keep going" and leaning on my circle of like-minded women experiencing all the seasons of life and staying committed to BUILDING LIVES WE LOVE... one season at a time and TOGETHER!

What ever season of life you are in right now... you are not alone and you are right where you get to be. To choose, to love, to grow, and to build. You get to go ALL IN wherever you are... its the only way to truly Build A life you love! And as always... I am rooting for everyone!
